A weekend of tea & cakes

Since the beginning of my cooking days I have always been so fascinated by cupcakes & the cupcake-crazed epidemic. Not only are they extremely delicious but they also make great gifts for all occasions. Icing & piping (to me) is like art in it's finest form. I'm still very green when it comes to piping, but I have the food colouring stains all over the kitchen bench to prove that I am constantly practicing. Over the weekend I attended a high-tea for a very special 5-year old, Arabella. Everything was pink, sweet and bite-size (in other words - PERFECT). Here are some pictures of my cakes that I decorated & some the caterers did which were beyond amazing.
