The Home-Made Christmas Ice Cream

There is something delicious about chunky ice-cream. It goes beyond it's timeless creamy taste, to a whole new level of dessert heaven. This Home-Made Christmas Ice Cream was an invention by my mother and myself inspired by an ice cream terrine she had made 5 years earlier from a magazine. We were slightly in the dark as to what to use, so we went overboard and thought all things Christmas would do the trick!

Recipe:
1 x tub of Vanilla Ice Cream
1 x 250g bag of glazed mixed coloured cherries
1 x Average Christmas Pudding
1 x Packet of Fruit Nut chocolate

Packed it is, and yummy it was! The instructions are extremely simple.

Instructions:
  1. Leave the Ice Cream out in room temperature until cool and partially melted
  2. Break the Christmas Pudding up (so it has a crumbled texture) and add to the ice cream
  3. Finely break and roughly chop the chocolate up into small pieces and add
  4. And simply add the glazed cherries
  5. Refrigerate for up to 2 days for a perfect ice cream, and chop while frozen!
